our Service
We offer service at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday at the Christian Academy (891 Refugio Rd) in Santa Ynez. Each week you can expect a contemporary worship setting with a band, biblical preaching, and lots of time after service for food and fellowship. Our dress is casual, so come as you are. You don't have to have your life "all together" and you don't have to have it "all figured out" to join us in worship. All you need is an open heart.
Biblical teaching
Each week we spend time dwelling in God's word. When you join us for Sunday morning worship, you can count on us opening God's word, looking deeply at what it says, and taking practical steps to live into the challenges we find there. authentic worship
Worship is a pretty big deal for us. Not because of the style or song selection, but because of the connection it gives us to our good and beautiful God. Sometimes the music is fast and loud, other times is quiet and meditative. Regardless of the week's style, every Sunday you can expect to raise your voice and heart to the living God.
Caring community
While we value small groups at VCF, we know that connecting with God's people is bigger than just hanging with close friends, it's about meeting new people, hearing about each other's weeks, and welcoming new people into the community. That's why we make sure there's always plenty of time, space, and refreshments after service to make those connections.
